We went with another couple for our anniversary. I would go back again as the room and everything around the hotel was super clean and safe. We took the $20 and walked out of the casino up $240 from the free slot play. We received a note under the door stating we could receive a free breakfast or $20 in free slot play if we checked out early. I think I saw $99 for a two night stay and $99 in free slot play. The hotel runs specials during the week in combination with the casino. I think it has a lot to do with the area, away from a major metro area. The major difference between this casino and Maryland Live! is ALL the people, both staff and players were pleasant to be around.
I was able to get a seat at the $10 Blackjack table, (there's about 6 tables, one reserved for higher bets - $25) and most slots I wanted to play. I was pleasantly surprised that the casino was not that full. Friday nights at casino's are usually very crowded, at least from my experience. We ate dinner at the Lakeside which was fine and then headed off to the casino. The view from the room was looking over the lake and mountain, which must be a spectacular view in the Fall when the leaves are changing.
There is a lot to do at the resort, most guests were golfing or at the casino. The area is really scenic, it reminded me of the foothills of the Catskill mountains in NY.
